"Normal day, let me be aware of the treasured day you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart...let me hold you while I may."
I honestly like Lindsey better, to me it is spelled more like it is said. Lindsay looks like it should be Lind-Say. Just my opinon and what I've always thought haha.
but only because I know 3 Lindsay's and that's how all 3 spell it. Which is more common? I'd go w/ the more common spelling.

Initially I was thinking Lindsey for sure. When I saw the examples Lindsey Jones or Lindsay Adams I think it does make a difference. I hope your last name has an e in it. LOL
my name is lindsay so i am partial i guess. i think the more common (from what ive seen) version is lindsey if that matters. My mom spelled it with an A because her name was Linda.
Is it important to be able to easily find personalized things? Go go a couple of stores, look at their personalized stuff and see which they have. Then you can decide based on that if you want personalized stuff. My preference is Lindsay, but I have rarely seen it Lindsey, so I think it looks funny. But regarding the personalized stuff, decide if that's important to you. As someone who chose a less common spelling for a daughter's name, it could make the difference. I'm not concerned about finding personalized things in the stores because I can order them online and just wait for them, but we spelled our daughter's name Kylee instead of Kylie. There is NOTHING on the shelves premade that is spelled Kylee.

My name is Lindsey so I like that spelling better. I do agree with others that spelling it ey is more how it sounds. As far as the personalized stuff my mom was always able to find stuff with my name on it. They usually have both ey and ay.

This.
Lindsey, I think it looks the same as it sounds. I see Lindsay and also think Lind -SAY.
I've also seen it spelled Lyndzi, Lyndsi, Lindsy,Lindz, and a multitude of other ways, but don't really care for those!
