Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Anyone's 7 month old only drink 4oz at a time?

DS is a snacker and has always been.  Does anyone else have a LO who only drinks 4oz at a time?  Seems like he should be eating more, but he seems satisfied so I'm not worried, just curious as to who else has a snacker?  Oh and he eats about every 3 hrs.

  • My LO still only drinks 4-5 oz at a time and sometimes he doesn't finish it.  He gets about 4 or 5 bottles a day.

  • yes, dd has never ate more than 4 oz at a time.  At least not from a bottle (I am nursing).

    Ditto this.

  • This is my LO too.  Pedi said I don't make enough milk and he got used to it, but I kind of think that is crap (and it made me feel awful).  Anything more and he spits up!

Same here! DS gets 5- 4oz bottles a day.  I've offered more and either he won't take it or he pukes everywhere.  I'll stick with less volume more often. It does make me angry that I have 3 unopened boxes of 9oz Dr. Brown's bottles that we will never use. No, I don't have receipts. I never thought I wouldn't use them.
  • Lily's bottles are either 3 or 4 ounces. Mostly 4 oz bottles, but that's all she wants. She refuses more. Of course, I can't really seem to make more, so it works out.
