umbrella strollers-worth it at this age?

so we have a triplet regular stroller and a double & single graco regular stroller...but we're thinking for the summer maybe try a double and single umbrella stroller...I haven't done ANY research yet, just thought I'd ask any of you your experiences or thoughts. I was thinking they'd be lighter weight for some of the summer activities but I know we'll need our trip stroller with the better wheels for off-roading activities (ie: park, festivals..etc)

my kids will be 7-10 mos old for the summer...is that too young for umbrella strollers? or what should my game plan be for hot months? I just feel like either way I'm going to need to take them out of their carseats and put them in directly instead leaving them in their carseats and snapping them in, right? or am I way off???? lol

i have a single umbrella and a double combi (does that count as an umbrella?) and we used those more than anything when ours were that age. i'm not sure how the weights compare to the gracos, though, but i do like how they're small and lightweight.

oh...good!! I was hoping they'd be the right age...what's a double combi? I know NOTHING about strollers...I need to either hook up with nbjenni or start researching...lol

what's good umbrella stroller brands? googling double combi now...

we have the combi twin sport, and i love it. there is a jeep double umbrella, but i think it's kind of crappy. i don't know. hmmm...yeah, ask nbjenni or goldielocks.

We have the Chicco Trevi Twin double umbrella stroller and LOVE it!  Both seats recline separately, good sized baskets underneath, pockets for my stuff and a cup holder (which isn't the best but it does the job), and it folds easily and is pretty light compared to most double strollers.  The boys love it and are real comfy in it.

My guys are a little older than yours...but right around six months we started using umbrella strollers, and that is really all we use these days!  I have the Maclaren twin techno and then a Maclaren Volo as well for when I just take out one baby.  I absolutely love them - they are my favorite strollers, and I have a BOB too (great stroller for walks around the neighborhood and jogging, but not nearly as convenient as the umbrella strollers imo).
