I was going to reply on the post made by the mom of twins + an older daughter. She was AWing her kids names (Mackenzie, Brody and Mason) and got all pissed about the comments.
I hadn't even left a comment yet, but when I tried it said "not found".
I wasn't going to be rude, but I definitely think it is lame to delete posts. And two at that.
Re: Hmmm a double DD??
What did people say to her? Why did she get pissed?
I saw her post and thought it was an odd post but didn't respond myself.?

One poster said she hated the name Mackenzie. Another poster (Bluesmoothee - kind of infamous for posting rude comments) said she had a nephew named Brody and everyone laughed about his name behind his back. One other person said they weren't a fan of trendy names and the OP got all defensive and said they weren't trendy, they were "unique".
Then the OP posted another thread about how rude everyone was here and how she had just found this board and was going to leave it. I believe her words were along the lines of "sorry you are all jealous that I have really cute kids with awesome names. I was just trying to give people ideas for great names. You can all shove it!
" (<-- yes she used that emoticon).
It was something to that effect.
Yeah the names weren't my style which is why I didn't comment. However what I found oddest was the sense of bragging when no one had said "hey tell me what you called your other kids, I need ideas".
I'm not surprised she got slated though. I mean if you post "suggestions" for names here you have to be prepared for people give you the harsh truth...so to come on and say "my names are awesome everyone have a look"...is just asking for trouble.?

I completely agree. BTW, love the names Miles and Jane. Great name choices!!! Miles is DH's #1 fav boy name. Mine is Graham. Our older daughter's middle name is Jane.
I thought her post was strange, too. Obviously every loves their childrens' names or else they wouldn't have chosen them! I didn't comment because the kids have already been born and their lame names can't be undone, but I just didn't understand the reason for her post.
And, this is beside the point, it's not like she posted really great, original names that set this board afire! It's not like no one has ever thought of Mason, Mackenzie and Brody before. I know that was rude, but it's just my opinion.
HAHAHAHA... love it
hmmmm... Kitty Lulu Lookatme-- secretly going on my list...
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Hasn't everyone heard of those names? They are in every baby name book in America and we've all seen The Hills (Brody), right? lol
Haha- you will become my new best friend
Eh, didn't see the post but I wouldn't call those names trendy or unique. Maybe not completely as common (at least Brody and Mason) but definitely not unique. I don't find Mackenzie to be unique at all but definitely more on the common side of names.
