started rice cereal this morning

the kid went nutso. Loved it and cried for more. He didnt really understand how to work the spoon. He was licking it and sucking it then would smack his lips. so funny. I cant believe what a big boy he is. They grow way too quick :(

    Glad your LO loved it. We tried again with our baby boy at 5 months too and that's when he decided he liked it. We first tried at 4 months and it was a horrible scream fest. It's scary how fast they grow up. We are going to introduce pureed foods next week!

    Yay!  Sarah loves her rice cereal.  I bet once you start putting some banana in it he'll really go apeshit. Smile

    I know I'm so excited for him. I just hopes he likes the new food as well as he does the rice cereal. I was going to wait until his 6 mo. check up next week to see which one the pedi suggest we start with (fruit/veggie) but I'm guessing from what I read it will be a veggies though.
