So my DD isn't a horrible sleeper, but she isn't a great one either. Most nights she goes to bed great and most of the time she only wakes up once, sometimes twice. I know she can sleep through the night (becasue she has on occasion). I think she is now waking up out of habit, not to eat which leads me to believe that it is time to start sleep training. So my questions is, everything that I have read says that you need to put LO down awake, well my LO always falls asleep nursing before bed. I could add reading a book to our routine but that would mean I would have to wake her up to do it. This is the only time she ever falls asleep nursing but its like she knows, diaper change, sleep sack, nursing/sleep. Do you think this is ok or would you start waking her up and adding another step so she would be going down awake?
