how ya feelin? sounds like you've been busy getting things together - how exciting!
i have a question - when did you tell your boss you were pg? with M I told my boss fairly early b/c i was leaving for dr's appts a lot. I didn't want her to think I had an incurable illness or something. now, that I work from home, my schedule is more flexible and I could wait until my 2nd trimester if I wanted but I didn't know if that was fair to my boss. things are in freak-out mode at work right now and I don't want my absence to be that big of a deal - kwim?
take care and thanks!!
Re: viva!
Hey deary! All is good here. Starting to get REALLY uncomfortable but I'm still able to move forward with my home projects that I want to accomplish before I start my leave on June 12th (2 weeks before my due date). How are you feeling?
Both pgs I told my bosses right away (like as soon as I went to my first OB appt (6-8 weeks?) and had it confirmed. The first time I didn't know how I'd feel and if I'd need to call out a lot, and this time I just couldn't keep my mouth shut. I had told all of my coworker friends so I wanted to tell my bosses myself before they heard through the grapevine. Both times I had pretty much just switched departments so it was a bit of bad timing but it all worked out. I think any bosses just want to know that you'll be proactive in getting things set up for while you're gone. 9 months is a LONG time! No matter what is going on now, your boss should be at ease with knowing you have many months before you'll be cutting out.
Good luck! Let me know what you decide!
