Tiny red bumps on legs and arms?!?!

I am wondering if my DD is having a reaction to something. Has anyones LO every had tiny red bumps on their arms and legs? They look like little pimples. She is 10 months now and I have started to give her a lot of table foods so I am wondering if it is a reaction to yogurt, mango, cheese or pasta. Those are the new ones we tried since the bumps appeared!

  • I noticed my dd has these to on her upper arms a little bit.  I have them on my upper arms too though, so I think her skin is just similar to mine.  I don't think it's a reaction, but you might want to check with your dd's pedi just to be sure.

  • My DD has them too, on the backs of her upper arms.  I do too.  My SIL is a NP and she said its an actual condition...apparently its genetic.  And there is a treatment.  I need to find out what it is.
  • It is a genetic condition called Keratosis Pilaris, and I have it.  I'm hoping SP doesn't get it.  It's a pain in the ass and it causes severe dry skin.

Interesting.  Urea is treatment.  Have you tried to pee on your arm yet?

If I could reach, then maybe.  *snort*

  • DD has excezma and it looks like little bumps a lot of the times if she isn't really having a big flare up.  I use a 50-50 mixture of vaseline and eurcerin cream (the super thick stuff in the jar) on her 2x's a day to keep her excezma under control.
