I know it's not technically a real name, but what do you think of it for a girl? I'd never use it as a first name - middle only. I've been trying to think of a way to put together my mother and DH's mother's names (Lynette and Susan) but I hate made-up sounding names.
Thoughts?
TIA
Re: Lynsan?
I was going to say exactly this!
Let me say that sometimes, although you want to "use" certain names, they just don't work (esp in combo).
I thought about Suzette, but I don't really love that name.
Although the more I think about it, the more Lynsan is sounding like some kind of a prescription drug...
I think it's a good concept (honoring your mothers' names), but Lynsan just doesn't sound right to me.
Yeah some names just aren't meant to be put together like that.
Yeah I didn't really think so either. We'll see what happens, maybe I won't use the name(s) at all.
Thanks for the input!
Then you should hate Lynsan. It definitely doesn't sound like a real name.
Ew.
Looks like Lyn-san, as in Mr/Mrs Lyn in Japanese. Very awful.

DH and I are using family names for LO's middle name, but with that being said...
No. Just no.
This.
my MIL's name is Lythan, which isn't made up and could be a combo of Lynette (Ly) and Susan (an). I think it's very pretty.
I don't like Lynsan.
