MH was recognized at the grocery store yesterdy...

Not for his work in the community or coaching a pretty good HS girls basketball team, but for being Lucas' dad.  The cashier at our grocery store absolutely loves Lucas and always has remembered his name and talks to him and he always flirts back. I usually do all the shopping on my own and always take Lucas with me.

At this store, your last name is on the reciept and they always look and thank you by name.  Well, yesterday MH went to the store to pick up a few odds and ends and ended up in this cashier's line.  As she handed him his receipt, she looked at the last name, looked at him and said, "Oh my gosh, are you Lucas' dad?".  I guess he was speechless.  Usually its, "Oh, I saw your team in the paper yesterday" or something like that...

that's funny. We know how that goes. DH is a local radio personality and gets recognized all the time.  The other day we were walking around our neighborhood and one of my neighbors is a friend of mine on facebook, but we've not yet met in person. Sounds odd, I know, but it's not. anyway, we were walking and ds stopped at the fence. I called him by name and the neighbor was outside and said 'oh is this the infamous Rowan?'.  We were expecting her to say oh is this the infamous "insert DHs radio name here'.  We both  laughed, but loved it.
