Hahaha...I thought this was serious until I saw who posted it. First thing that came to mind for me (and it's because I'm from Texas and have family in both places) is that you would have 2 sons with the same names as TX cities (Austin & Tyler).

Guess what- I didn't know there was a city in Texas called Tyler! Well, we considered Dallas and Houston, so this is better right?

Yes, I would definitely go with Tyler!! I do like it...my step son is a Tyler. Good luck coming up with something you both like!

Did you consider Corpus Christi? Or would that make a better girl's name?

I prefer Tiler. Then his name can also be his profession!
Ooooo, I just remembered that I knew a guy in college named Tile! He was an odd cat...and even as a 20-something, he was still being made fun of for his name.
Re: How should I spell Tyler?
Just in case you are not kidding, Tyler
Ar you kidding , Tylarr, Tylour, Tielar, Tyeler. Those are all ridiculous and pretentious.
If you want to name you son Tyler, please spell it T-y-l-e-r.

I was going to say Tieler but I have to change my vote to Tiler. That's awesome!

I was actually thinking about suggesting this name to you recently!
Along with Ryder and Myles. I think all 3 go very well w/ Austin.

Definitely a girl name. I love it!

LOL! I love it! Now I must show this post to DH. It's still my favorite name.

Thanks, me too. Why am I not married to YOU? LOL

Love it ;-)
I think Tyler is a good choice -- it's cute, not too common, it'll transition well from a little boy's name to a grown up name!
I love Tyler, but it is DH's name, so I'm biased
