How should I spell Tyler?

I want something different! Which do you like best?

Tyller, Tylarr, Tylour, Tyeler, Tielar

Just kidding!! Wink

But we are considering plain old Tyler. My heart isn't totally into it but it's on the list because DH likes it and I don't hate it.

Ar you kidding , Tylarr, Tylour, Tielar, Tyeler.  Those are all ridiculous and pretentious.

If you want to name you son Tyler, please spell it T-y-l-e-r.

I was going to say Tieler but I have to change my vote to Tiler.  That's awesome!

Hahaha...I thought this was serious until I saw who posted it.Smile  First thing that came to mind for me (and it's because I'm from Texas and have family in both places) is that you would have 2 sons with the same names as TX cities (Austin & Tyler).

Guess what- I didn't know there was a city in Texas called Tyler! Well, we considered Dallas and Houston, so this is better right?

  • I was actually thinking about suggesting this name to you recently!

Along with Ryder and Myles. I think all 3 go very well w/ Austin.

Yes, I would definitely go with Tyler!!  I do like it...my step son is a Tyler.  Good luck coming up with something you both like!

Did you consider Corpus Christi?  Or would that make a better girl's name?

Angie- my favorite spelling is Tielur. I think you should go with that! Austin might get jealous that Tielur has a more fun spelling than him though :)
  • Tyler is ok...but i still like Landon better :)
  • I think you should spell Tyler L-A-N-D-O-NWink jk. They're both great names, but I'm still cheering for Landon!

LOL! I love it! Now I must show this post to DH. It's still my favorite name.

I think Tyler is a good choice -- it's cute, not too common, it'll transition well from a little boy's name to a grown up name!

Ooooo, I just remembered that I knew a guy in college named Tile! He was an odd cat...and even as a 20-something, he was still being made fun of for his name.
