WDYT of Foster

for a boy?  DD's name is Parker, which I know is sort of more masculine.  Is Foster not a strong enough boys name to go with it?  TIA!

  • When I hear Foster, I think bananas.
    Blank!
  • I like it okay, but it is more of a surname to me. I like your daughter's name better. I work with kids, so the name Foster instantly makes me think of foster homes.

  • My grandmother's maiden name is Foster, so it would definitely be a possible first or middle name on my list...
  • I went to school w/ a Foster. He was Foster Middlename Lastname the 4th. He came from a long line of Foster's.

I wouldn't use it but I don't see anything wrong w/ his family using it considering it's a family name.

  • Nope.  Sounds like foster parent/foster child.
