If I understand what you are asking, you put the word you want to link in the text of the message, highlight it, hit the link button, enter the actual URL in the url box that opens and click OK.

type the words you want to make a link and highlight them. next to the 123 bullets in the tool bar is a chain link. click it and c&p your link in the spot and there you have it
