Work vent

I went to HR today to apply for my FMLA leave because I've been on bedrest since the end of march and out of work.  (For the past 7 weeks I've been under non-FMLA because I didn't qualify for FMLA yet.)  My FMLA covers my job until Aug 5th....um baby is due Aug 8th.  So I most likely will not have a job after baby is born which totally sucks because in all honesty I love my job and coworkers. 

I am such an emotional wreck and feel like I'm being punished by my employer for having complications in this pregnancy (which isn't true but I still feel that way).  It's not my fault I couldn't work anymore at 20 weeks. My manager could technically grant me extended leave of absence but it won't be for more than 2 weeks.  I don't think she will anyway, they need to fill my position now as it is.  AHHH!  I'm just venting to anyone that can relate to my situation.

Sorry you have to deal with all this. I lost my job around 22-26 weeks so I know how stressful it can get. Just hang in there and know that there is a reason for it all!
