Any recos?  Looking for one for the top of our stairs, which are pretty steep.  TIA!

I posted this on 6-12 awhile back and got a good recommendation for every top of the stairs gate that BRU sells.  I went to the store to try to sort it out, and left even more confused.  I hope someone here can really rant or rave about some of them.  They all looked pretty much the same to me.  Saving this post for later so I can find it.

Oh and there is a coupon for either 10% or 15% off of gates...stack that with the 15% off a baby item and you get one heck of a deal!

We have this one:  https://www.amazon.com/First-Years-Clear-Swing-Gate/dp/B0000DBHHR.  It's also called the Everywhere Gate.  It isn't the prettiest thing in the world, but I love it.  I feel totally confident letting Allison hang on this thing with all her weight when she's throwing a tantrum.  Not that my child would ever do such a thing...

We also have this gate:  https://www.amazon.com/Evenflo-Top-of-Stair-Gate/dp/B00004YMZE.  (Sorry, it won't let me link.)  It seems much more flimsy to me, so we put it just in a doorway instead of on the stairs.  My BIL and SIL had one of these and loved it until it totally fell apart.  I don't know the whole story on how it fell apart, but I can't imagine their kids being very abusive to it.

We like it extremely well.  We got it off of our registry at BRU but I'm not sure they carry it anymore.  I will say that Wal-Mart carries it for about $20 cheaper than this link.  Justin cannot bust through it and it even kept my mother trapped upstairs with him till she figured out how to open it.  LOL.
