What are secret nesties?

I just saw DAT's post and I'm in the dark on this one...anyone care to enlighten me?

    Hi there, secret nesties are basically individuals who have been paired up with another person on this message board to send notes or cards with encouragement.  Something to lift each other up on a more of a personal side :)
