DH, baby and I got home yesterday afternoon, everything went really smoothly at the hospital and bmom's discharge went better than expected although now that she's home she needs our prayers as she struggles with her choice. so scary.
we are so in love and can't wait for the court date to be here and he'll be ours forever and no more worrying (about the bmom at least!). He is the most handsome little boy! our hearts are overflowing. it is such an amazing feeling.
I'll post pictures when i figure out how to do it again Thanks so much for all the well wishes, we really appreciate your thoughts and prayers during the next 6 weeks until the court date.

He's so cute! I'm so happy for you. I just have a question. Can the BM change her mind during those 6 weeks or is that just the official court date for termination. In the state where we adopted Ben, the BM signed 72 hours after birth and it couldn't be revoked. We thought the termination in court would be pretty quick, but things kept happening and it we mid December (6 months after we brought Ben home before the offiical termination happened). I didn't think about it much, but was so relieved when I got the e-mail saying everything went great. We finally got to finalize when Ben was 10 months old.
Good Luck with everything and I hope those 6 weeks fly by.
Congratulations!!! He's beautiful!
