    is it frozen?  If frozen it will keep for months.  That is what I do when I brown hamburger for a recipe I brown 4 or 5 lbs instead of just the 1 needed for the recipe and just freeze the extra in individual bags then take them out and use them in recipes when I need them.  So much simpler!  If it is just in the fridge then I would say 5 days tops.
