I wanted to ask yo guys were are pregnant and knew it was implantation bleeding instead of it actually being a period. How long did it last? the color? How soon did you test afterwards? Thanks.
I'm still not sure it was just implantation bleeding but doesn;t matter now I guess I did not test until a few days after the bleeding stopped because my temps were still high, something felt "different" and the GP ladies encouraged me to POAS and I am glad they did!

I never got implantation bleeding. And for those who do, it should never be bright red, period like blood. If you experience any bleeding it can be brown in color as this is the color of old blood (implantation bleeding is this color as I was told by the doc.)
I had 2 episodes of VERY light spotting for 2 mornings in a row. In retrospect this may have been implantation spotting. But probably not, it's pretty rare.

At about 6 or 7 DPO I had very light pink spotting when I went to the bathroom. It only happened that one time and I assume it was implantation bleeding but I have no idea.
my temp took a dive right around CD26 - like normal - so I thought for sure AF was coming. the next day I had some spotting, temp still low. but rather than get full blown AF, it was just like spotting, nothing more. The third day, my temp went up and the spotting subsided. My temps have never gone up after going down - not within two days. I waited two more days (so CD30), the spotting left, no AF, temp still up, tested and BFP.
Not sure if it was implantation bleeding or not, but that's my story.
I had a very small amount of dark brown spotting (only noticed when I wiped) for one morning exactly on the day of my expected period... I was pretty sad because I had tested the day before, got a positive, and this is the way my period typically starts.
I only had it with my first pg. I went to the bathroom and noticed a little bright pink dot on my underwear. It was right in the middle of my cycle and I remember thinking, WTF? I never have break through bleeding... I was right, I still don't.

I did have implantion bleeding. I just had a one time reddish-brown spotting in the morning 10 DPO. It was only in the morning and I got a positive hpt 4 days later.

Lots of women experience it and it can come after you get a BFP.
Implantation bleeding would come before you get your BFP...when the embroyo is implanting. Bleeding after you get a BFP isn't implantation bleeding.
From babycenter.com:
Implantation bleeding You may have some light spotting
for a day or two at about the time when the fertilized egg burrows into
the wall of your uterus. This is a process that starts just six to
seven days after fertilization, so you wouldn't even know you were
pregnant yet.
From babyhopes.com:
What does implantation bleeding look like?
Implantation bleeding is vaginal discharge which usually contains a
small amount of pinkish or brownish blood. Only about a third of
pregnant women experience implantation bleeding.
When does implantation bleeding usually occur?
It can happen at the time the fertilized egg implants in the uterus, on average between 6 to 12 days past ovulation.

Well mine came right after I got my BFP. My OB is one of the best in the south and he confirmed it...
I had very light spotting around 10 DPO as well as cramping like I was going to start my period but it was way too early for that. I tested the day after my missed period on 15DPO and got a positive.

It wouldn't make any sense to have implantation bleeding after you got a BFP, because the hcg is secreted after the embryo implants. Isn't it much more likely you just had normal spotting? How could your OB confirm it was implantation spotting anyway? Did you show your OB the blood?

I had one spot of very light brown 12 DPO. I attributed that to impantation, but who knows.
I thought I was miscarrying. The doctor at the ER (without giving me any exam or ultrasound) even told me I was.
But my ob told me that it was fine and it was just implantation bleeding. It went away after a few days. It was a brownish color.
No offense... but it's not that rare.
