30 day shred question

ok....so I'm intrigued by this 30 day shred stuff.  Can someone explain it to me?  I'm really in a slump and could use some motivation.  Is it a DVD??  TIA!!!

Re: 30 day shred question

  • Yes it's a DVD. I got mine at Target for $15.  I believe the trainer on there is the same trainer on The Biggest Loser (but I could be wrong).  She is great and keeps you moving in the workout.  There are 3 levels and it kicks your arse! I started it over the weekend and have done it every night since.  I am so sore but I feel great ( I love when I'm sore after a workout!).  Hopefully I answered your question!

  • I got it from amazon for $8.99 or something (I ordered a few other things though and got free shipping).

I've done it a couple of times, but I'm slacking off now that I'm back at work.  Need a few more days to get adjusted to actually leaving the house on a regular basis.

It is a good workout though!  It's circuit training with Jillian from the Biggest Loser.

  • It is cheapest on Amazon unless you can get the free version on cable.  I just went to Target and picked it up.  It kicks my behind, but I think it really will work for toning and for just getting up and moving regularly.  The exercises are not difficult at all, it is the constant moving without stopping that makes it a good workout.

I am so out of shape since my pregnancy.  I decided I am going to take a photo of my flab now, and every 10 days to see if there is a difference.  My resolve right now is to move...do something to work out every day for the next month.  I am secretly hoping it helps with our TTC too.

  • It's awesome!  Only 20 minutes of working out and you feel like you've been at the gym for an hour.  I do it in the morning after I feed Charlotte and while Lily is still asleep....sometimes she'll even wake up and start doing it with me.  It's hilarious!

I've completed 8 days of level one so far and I can totally see a difference in my arms.  My endurance level is getting a lot better too.  I bought it off Walmart.com and paid $12 or something.  Totally worth it!!

  • I am with Kessler on this, I can't wait to start this once baby z is born. I so want my body back in the worst way. Thanks for the info.
  • It is a great workout - and with it being only 20 minutes long, I feel like I can fit that into any day.  It's nice because I have TimeWarner - basic package, and I get it through the Exercise channel.  I was pleasantly surprised to find it on there!  They have all 3 levels of the Shred.
