Had my 36 wk appt today ...

It's still a girl, and she's 6 10 already ... it looks like she's going to be bigger than her brother was (6  15 at 39 wks).  Apparently she has a lot of hair and it was so cool to see it waving in the water.  The tech also got some pretty decent 3D face pics considering how far along I am and the fact that this baby sucks or chews on her hands constantly. 

I also had my first cervical check this morning.  I'm supposedly a fingertip dilated (although I think this may be an optimistic measurement) and 25% effaced.  Cervix is also soft.

 Overall, good appointment!

I just got back from my 38w appt. I'm only 1cm, and my cervix is still really thick and far back. I've been feeling so off lately, I was hoping for some better new.  No baby anytime soon.

Sounds like a great appt! I'm so jealous of you for getting an U/S!

I go tonight but not expecting anything exciting to happen. My biggest thrill in going is to have an hour by myself to read the new magazines they have in the waiting room (no u/s).
