Hi ladies! I'm now in the process of looking for a diaper bag that is large enough to handle double the stuff and isn't too 'babyish'. Any advice is appreciated!
I can't recommend a backpack diaper bag highly enough. A backpack allows you to have both hands free to deal with two babies, and it doesn't swing into one of them the way a shoulder bag does.
I have the Eddie bauer backpack diaper bag, which I like, but I don't think the exact brand is as important as having a backpack.
I like the fact that I can carry it messenger style and still be able to access what is in it without having to take it off like a backpack. It will also fit perfectly across the handlebar on my side by side stroller without having to clip it on. It has great little pockets and it lightweight. Another big plus, is that it doesn't look like a diaper bag so you can keep using it long after you don't need a diaper bag anymore. Up until a couple of weeks ago, I could sling it across me and carry both babies in their infant car seats at the same time.
I just have this one https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2765795 from babies r us... it's not fancy and not particularly big but I don't really think you need double the space just because you have two babies. I like to pack light and this fits everything we need with room to spare
