In the last few weeks i have had so many encounters with bad customer service i am begining to wonder if it is just my standards or ppl have just stopped caring about their jobs! I don't understand that when i am paying for a service, or calling to inquire about a service ect that i am either pushed to the side, no calls returned or spoken to like an idiot because 1. i am a woman in the south 2. could possibly not have any pull because of my age 3. that i have already paid for it so who cares about customer service now...
I guess it is just that for the many many many years that I was in customer service and when I owned my bakery I always prided myself on my customers being my #1 priority!
ok vent over...I had to be a biotch on the phone and I am just tired of having to do that!
Re: seriously...are my standards to high?
Option 4: customer service has been moved offshore to India.
Yeah, most companies have horrid customer service these days
ditto
I definitely know what you mean.
In fact, I'm so used to mediocre or bad service, that when I get good service, I want to write a letter to a manager to acknowledge my experience. Maybe it's "excellent service" or they're merely doing their job. Either way, I don't see it enough!
Unfortunately, bad customer service is the norm these days. It's an overhead cost for companies...
Bank of America has the worst customer service of any company I've ever encountered, followed shortly thereafter by United Healthcare. I can't even talk about BoA without feeling my blood pressure rise...
You know who has pleasantly surprised me, though? Verizon.
uggh glad to see i am not alone! seriously it has just been bad customer service issue one after the other...and none of the things i have been asking ect are over the duties of their job or the services they should be providing!!!
my issue today..we are leaving to go to florida on saturday and are staying at a really nice resort on the beach and i need to coordinate with the beach staff and catering staff the logistics of 30 ppl eating on the beach ( we are doing a family bday party) plus cabanas, umbrellas ect ect...I am not kidding you when i say i have been pushed to the side, no calls returned ect for close to three weeks....lemmme tell you I just ripped the general manager a new one. It pisses me off because we are spending some serious $$$ next week and they are like "eh they are booked and paid for ect ect.. who cares about a birthday party for one year olds" assholes!
btw...it took three managers, a whole bunch of bull and finally the general manager before i got the answers and information all squared away!!
yeah who the hell has heard of visitors not being allowed to visit guest at the hotel on the beach?????? ummmm yeah.
I hear you. I just had to talk to a manager with AT&T CS over the phone because the guy answering had no interest in actaully helping me.
