Please say a pray for me. Today at 2:45 I am going in for tests to see if I have thyroid cancer or tumors. I am absolutely terrified. Thanks so much.

Chassy, I am so sorry you are dealing with this. The word Cancer is very scary. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer 2 and a half years ago so I know exactly what you are going thru. If you want to talk pm or page me. I was able to talk to someone who had gone through it and it was very helpful. I am sending you positve thoughts and lots of prayers. (((hugs)))

I'll be thinking about you Chassy. Also, my doctor thought I had cancer on my thyroid as well and it just turned out to be nodules that don't concern him right now. I'll be hoping it is something like that for you as well!

It really is the best kind of cancer to have. I remember knowing it was curable didn't help my fear until I knew they had gotten all of it. I had surgery to remove my thyroid, then about a month later I took a radio active iodine pill and the rest has just been follow up. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help or questions I can answer for you.
