FB rant

I've got people on my FB friends that I don't really now (Nesties, CafePress people, people I've randomly met at parties, etc).

I've learned that some people put way too much stock into their friends list.  For example, I post lots of pics of the kids on FB.  Stbx was an FB friend.  He's been trying to reconcile and finally yesterday, I said heck no.  Now's he's removed me from his friends.  I think its rather juvenile.  Am I wrong to think the removal of friends because of something like this is silly?  ESPECIALLY when we're trying to remain friends for the sake of the kids?

Re: FB rant

  • Do you get some sort of notification when someone removes you from their friends list?  I've always wondered this.

  • Hehe...I didn't get one when you unfriended me...so no.  LOL!

To me, unfriending someone after a fight or disagreement is just dumb.

Every person I've talked to about FB has a different opinion of what it should be -- should it be really just people you know, people you like, everyone in the world?  Obviously you see it as an open forum.  Maybe your ex doesn't see it that way.  Maybe he's not interested in seeing pics of your life without him.  Honestly, I don't blame him.  Who would want to see that in their face all the time?  I wouldn't.
