So I have lurked on here a lot but haven't posted. I have some health concerns though and wanted to see if I could get some thoughts. I went off the pill in November with hopes of TTC in late spring to summer. I have been on it since 2003. I expected the first few months my period would be irregular but it has been nonexistent. I have not had one since around the end of December. At first my dr said that was normal after being on the pill for so long. Now however she has made an appointment for me to see an OB (she does my regular exams but doesn't handle pregnancies). They couldn't get me in until June though. I have been testing every week or so and have all been negatives.
Here are my main worries:
I tried charting in November and December (when I did have a period) but my temp never showed a peak. Since then there have been a couple of times that I had light spotting where it seemed I was getting ready to start my period but I never did. I used the CB fertility monitor twice (after each spotting in case I just had spotting instead of my period) and while it showed high days, it never showed a peak. I have also been feeling really tired the last month or so and gaining a ton of weight without any changes to my diet or exercise. I have put on over 10 lbs since January.
I hate just waiting around until June to find out what is going on. Would you guys be worried? I guess I just need a place to vent. We haven't told anyone we are starting to TTC. TIA
Re: no AF but no bfp
So, if my math is correct, you've been off the pill for 6 months. I'd say keep up the charting, even if it's not showing ovulation. Then you can bring it to the OB and show them.
June isn't that far away, you'll just have to wait it out.
GL.
After two losses, third time was a charm.
