to wash clothes ever again!  Yup he just washed his phone.  When he finally pulled it out of the washer it was a blank screen and vibrating.  I took out the battery and set it on the counter to dry and hopefully pray to god it works in later or in the morning.  He has gone through 4 or 5 phones in less than a year and half because he can't seem to keep them whole or unwashed!

Oh no!  And I thought it was bad when MH washed clothes with chapstick in the pocket.

I don't know how true this is, but I've heard you can put a wet/washed cell phone in an airtight container full of uncooked rice to dry it out.  Apparently the rice absorbs the moisture.

This! My phone got wet a few weeks ago and I did this over night and it works fine now! Make sure you take the battery off, but put it in there with the phone.

Come to think of it....he has been talking about wanting (not needing) a new cell phone.

Haven't heard of the rice thing but worth a try.
