Is there any way to make Novocaine wear off faster?

This numbness is driving me crazy!  Is there any way to get it wear off faster or do I just have to wait it off?

    HA! I am laughing because I googled the same question yesterday after I had a filling replaced.  I was numb from 10:30 until 2:30 and they said they use the short lasting stuff. NOthing you can do but wait it out. Good luck...I know how annoying it is.

    hehe, that's funny.  I guess they used the long acting stuff with me.  It's 1 pm and it's finally worn off!  Yay!  I can eat my pizza now!

    LOL, Gemini!  I called my mom as I was leaving the parking lot and I sounded so funny.  She said she couldn't tell the difference.  Thanks mom, I didn't know I always sounded like I have a mouth full of marbles...
