Lucas threw up Saturday night (2x) and once Sunday morning. He seemed to be feeling better Sunday and Monday. I go to wake him up and he is covered in vomit. I feel SO bad that neither MH or I heard him throw up. (this weekend he screamed when it happened) I guess we will be calling the doctor as soon as they open today. I'm sure My principal just thinks I am trying to use all of My sick days (in part, I am) but I really wanted to go today to watch the senior awards! Him throwing up scares the crap out of me and brings back horrible nightmares of his first few months. I'm sure it is normal, but vomit is the one of the few things that evokes the mommy-crazies in me.
Re: Mommy guilt.
aww poor guy! don't feel bad - he probably wasn't screaming at all or you would have heard him. I swear sometimes they can vomit without even waking up completely.
hope he feels better soon!
Aw, poor guy, that is the worst. I hope it is a bug and passes quickly.
Do your sick days not carry over?
I'm sorry - for both of you! Poor guy. Kids are weird when they're sick. When M had the poo flu, she acted fine. I thought it was gone and something she ate made it come back - all the while I had no clue. When I had it - different story.
Don't feel guilty - toddlerhood is a hard book to read.

Awww, sorry he isn't feeling well.
But, don't feel bad. I think that has happened to most of us. In fact, the morning of R's first b-day, we went in to get her and she was covered in puke with blueberries all over her and the crib. Yeah...what a way to mark her first year in the world.
Hope he feels better soon!
Congrats on the new job! Will your son go to that daycare wtih you?
Good luck, and don't feel any guilt! I say use those sick days, lol
