I don't get the hype over that book!  the ending just totally jumped the shark. Like DOOL or something.

No a real movie in theaters. Cameron Diaz plays the mom. That's my big problem with Jodi Picoult -- it's like she writes herself into a corner and then can't figure out how to get out.

That is a perfect way to look at it.  We just read the one about the stigmata for my book club (can't remember the name).  It's like her deadline arrived and she just put down the pen.  Very strange.

Of course I'm reading another of hers right now.  lol
