Just got back from my 38 wk appt

I'm still only about 1 cm dilated, but as someone who was at 3 cms for over 2 weeks I know that that means nothing.  I wouldn't have even cared to get checked except that I was having a ton of contrax Sunday night (only got 1 hour of sleep that night) so I thought I should.  My MW said if I want to go into labor to have lots of sex, get a massage, rasp leaf tea, etc. so I guess I will give it a try... sex just doesn't sound good right now, lol.

Aside from the appointment, I've been having cramps and contractions (both BH and some that are stronger and timeable) for over a week now, but still haven't gone into labor.  I will never understand why some women get upset when they aren't dilated or having contractions (unless they are way overdue of course).  I really wish I could be one of those people.  Oh well.  I'm getting used to having contractions that amount to nothing, so the only thing I will hope for now is that she comes before I need to shave my legs again!

ugh i couldn't imagine sex at 38 weeks, I would go the massage route if you wanted to try and bring it on.
