No Huggies size 7? what to do next?pull ups?

I am not going to potty train for another 2 months- after our vacation, so I kinda wanted to go from size 6 to 7?  should I just get the pull ups next?  I know potty training it going to take a long time especially since I am just going to introduce it not force it by any means... I just thought there was a size 7.  I use the natural fit, which is now called little movers ( and has less diapers in it btw).

updated- I should have said he is very tall, not huge- he is only 21 pounds but I find that size 6 works best as well as they hold well overnight.

I can't use Pampers- allergic to the scent it has. even the sensitive has a scent.

  • Okay I have no idea in answer to your question, except try other brands maybe... but I MUST ask how big is your DS?  That is craziness!

  • Wow. No offense but you must have a giant on your hands!

My DD only wears 4, and she can still sometimes fit into 3s.

  • How much does your DS weigh? The 6's say 35+ pounds, so I would think they would atleast fit to 40 pounds or more. My DD is 27 lbs & still fits in a 4, although I will be switching to 5's soon.

I think once you start potty training pull ups would probably be easier so you can show him how to pull them down.

  • I do believe there is a size 7.  I ljust looked on my Pampers cruisers box it shows up to size 7 on the cruisers then it goes to pull-ups.  My DS is in a size 6 hes huge and tall.  I was worried too but we have a ways to go in the 6's right now.  hes 31 1/2 lbs and 34 in.
  • It is probably based on which stores carry that size due to not much demand.  My DD1 only made it to a 4 before PT.  DD2 is only in a 3, so I cannot forsee going past a 4 either since she already pees in the potty.

Look at 1800diapers.com for extended sizes.

  • my son is tall, not huge, he is only 20 pounds, but very long, so I find that these work best and also hold up well overnight.

I should have clarified that....  Big Smile

  • Pampers makes size 7's. I have only seen them at BRU. Otherwise, others I know who were in this position went to pull ups. But they dont hold as much. How tall is DS? Mine was 23lbs and 32 inches(which is considered tall) at 12 months and we just moved him up to a size 5 in huggies a few weeks ago.
  • Have you tried the Huggies Overnites for night time?  DD tends to pee a lot at night and several months ago I moved to those for night time and/or for traveling and they work wonderful.  I believe they make up to a size 7 in those.  THey are hard to find, though my Target just started stocking them, typically I could only find them at Babies R Us.
