SAHM's?

i can't remember if if there are many on here, but i'm wondering if you have any suggestions on places to go with  DD during the week. i want to get out with her more, and nothing that really costs money. just something to get us out of the house every now and then. thanks:)

    I am not a SAHM.... but MY mom use to take us to the Witte Museum on Tuesdays during the summer when we were little. ?I believe it is STILL free on Tuesdays (except for whatever special exhibit is showcased). ?The HEB Tree house there is great and it is a great place to just walk around.There is also the duck pond in the old Heritage neighborhood off of Marbach Rd. (900 Ellison Drive South) if you are on the west/southwest side of town. ?When DD#1 was little, I would buy a loaf of bread for a buck and let her go to town feeding the duckies. ?They also have a little playground there. ?I bet there are a lot of baby ducks right now, and they have a lot of seating in the shade.Also, I think most of the public library branches have storytime during the week! ??

    We do mommy and me yoga at Destination Maternity on Tuesdays.  It's great to talk w/ other moms and see other babies.  There are babies ranging from 3 weeks-12mnths.  Plus, I like the exercise.  It's free.

    Just wanted to mention that I'm checking into Gymboree classes.  There is one on Huebner near me.  It does cost money, but I thought it would be fun and help DS's development.

    I'm checking into Gymboree, Little Gym, Music Together, and Kindermusik. I'd like to start any of the above in the next couple of months....?

    swim classes would also be fun (water babies etc...) We're not going to do that bc I use to teach Water Babies so I can do it with dd on our own.?
