Your Nala sounds just like our Pumpkin. Naughty, naughty.
And your Thornton sounds like our Carson Palmer and we said pretty much the exact same thing to him after his surgery.
When our cats are being bad and we joke about giving them away I always have to remind DH we can't give Carson away--we're still paying for him.

Re: ***Alison***
LOL! So you have a naughty one too! It's amazing, I always laugh when people say they like dogs better because they have more of a personality whereas cats are all pretty much the same, it's so not true - all 4 of ours are complete and total opposites!
I remember Carson Palmer having surgery, what happened to him again? And I know what you mean - we just paid off Thornton's surgery a few months ago! I sometimes fantasize about what else we could have bought with that 3K - a new washer/dryer, new floors, new countertops...etc....of course we're just glad he's OK, but ya know....
Oh my goodness my cats are FULL of personality.
Well, all of our cats are somewhat naughty (they're all the same age so I think they just feed off each other) but Pumpkin is definitely the naughtiest. She's just very precocious but she's also very lovable and is the most friendly to strangers.
Carson's bladder kept getting blocked with stones and other debris so they made the opening at the end of his urethra wider. I'd be driving a new car right now if Carson hadn't needed that surgery, but it was just never an option for us to not get it when they were 99.9% sure he'd be fine if he did get it. I'm so glad DH loves him as much as I do and was on the same page there.
Nala's the same way as Pumpkin - super outgoing and friendly, she runs towards the door when she hears someone come in so she can greet them. Everyone usually loves her, she's only naughty to us. Are your kitties all siblings? None of ours are, they're all different ages and we got them at different times.
That's right, I remember now about Carson. It was the same way with Thornton - he was young and healthy so it was never an option not to get the surgery. I still kick myself for leaving that bottle sitting out, though....
They each have their own Catbook page. :-)
