I'd call, I know it can be caused by a clogged duct which they normally just have you put a warm cloth on and it goes away in a few days, but def. call just in case.
Hunter had the same exact thing about 2 1/2 weeks ago---I thought it might have been pink eye so I called the pedi and they said it was probably just a clogged tear duct and to just keep any eye on it. It cleared up in just a few days--I wiped it with a warm cloth.

That would happen to Evelyn periodically and as others have said, it was a clogged duct. You might call the doctor just to make sure there's no infection, though.

Usually light yellow or white drainage is a clogged duct. Green is often an infection. Try using a warm wet gauze to gently press and rub on the tear duct sweeping out to the outer corner of the eye every few hours (i usually do it with diaper changes and feedings) for 24 hours. If it does not clear up go see the ped. Also if the eye is matted shut after sleeping then you need to see the ped.
