beach cabanas

I am looking for a cabana or tent type of shelter for DD when we head to the beach next month.  Any suggestions?  I need something that works well in windy conditions, because there is always a good breeze on this beach.

One Step Ahead has a few that have gotten good reviews. I haven't purchased one yet, but I will next month.

My BIL bought it for us since I am so fair and now we have a LO.  Its great!  We took it to Michigan last summer and I think they have the windiest beaches around!  It works great.  It has anchor spikes and it also has pockets on the sides that you can fill with rocks or sand for extra weight.  It has zip off/on panels for privacy or napping.

I don't know how you feel about lugging a huge tent down to the beach... but we got one of those big backyard canopies for the beach last summer. It is like 10 feet by 10 feet. I loved it because we had a blow p pool, blankets and toys set up under there. Rylee and I hung out under there almost the whole time.

We got a coleman canopy for our beach trip last summer. It was great to have such a large shaded area that you could stand up under. Nora played with her sand toys underneath and we set up a couple chairs. We were able to keep the canopy frame up for the entire week and just took down the cloth canopy every night.
