Finding Nemo --- Flo, has anyone seen my sister Flo?

I was just watching this movie, so I had to bring it up.

There is a scene in the movie, where Deb is looking for her sister "Flo", who happens to be her reflection in the aquarium glass.

Everytime I see this part in the movie, I think about all of you ladies.

"Flo, has anyone seen my sister Flo??"

 

Trying to conceive #2 since May 2006. Started IVF in 2008; IVF #1 cancelled (poor responder); IVF #2 cancelled (poor responder); IVF #3 BFP (MC day 26); IVF #4 BFN; IVF #5 BFN; Vas Rev Jan 2010 - azoospermia to date; DS IUI October 2010 - BFN; IUI November - Cancelled --- BREAK from November to March (on DHEA)(FSH from 15 to 5)(AMH 0.1, no chamge) --- FINALLY --- DS IUI March (19th) - Beta 4-5 (16dpo) = BFP (205)!!!! --- Beta #2 4-7 (18dpo) = 477 BFP!!! --- 7-11-11 IT'S A BOY!!!!

    Ok, totally one of my favorite movies ever! It is my comfort movie... whenever I am feeling down or just "eh" I watch it.

    And every time I hear her talk about Flo all I can think of is AF. And I had the same thought as you!

    I guess we are all Deb and Flo (or ebb and flo) in some respects!! :)

    According to Wikipedia ---

    Deb (and Flo)

    Deb is a Blacktail Humbug, the 2nd female member of the Tank Gang. She confuses her reflection on the tank wall as her "sister" Flo. Deb and Flo are a pun to ebb and flow, the falling and rising, respectively, of the Earth's tides. Voiced by Vicki Lewis.

    Come to think of it, every cycle is like ebb and flow for me :)

    The ups and the downs...but like Dory says "just keep swimming, swimming, swimming".

    Wow... I definitely didn't even THINK that it was a pun on ebb and flo!
