I can't believe that I went from feeling like I was headed for divorce to feeling pretty ok about things...
I seriously did not realize that it is mostly normal male behavior (not that that makes it OK)
I never b!tch about him IRL, b/c I don't want to come off that way, or to give the wrong impression of him to my friends/ family..He's not that bad of a guy- its just that he is mind blowingly oblivious/semi- lazy/ SO much more "overworked "than anyone else...
Thanks guys. I really really feel better!
Its time to bust out the country song that I wrote for him the chorus is: He's the hardest workin' man in the whole USA.
the words change depending on what I'm bugged by.
Re: I need to vent here more often..
I know I probably come off as a HUGE whiner, but I find the same thing when I vent here. Either I get confirmation that what I'm going through is totally normal or I get no responses and figure out I'm being unreasonable. Either way, it's good to get some perspective.

You crack me up--I'd give your DH a run for his money if I didn't already have a 99% perfect spouse of my own!
I'm the same way about everything: I always feel like I'm the only one who's not getting any sleep, whose toddler does XYZ, who didn't lose all her baby weight by week 6, or whatever, and hearing that I'm not makes me feel a thousand times better. Sometimes our perspective is just out of whack and we imagine everyone else has these perfect lives, but I think the truth is that most people just don't talk about the less-than-perfect parts. Hence, the beauty of the Nest...minus the people who bust into such posts just to brag, of course. Those people need to be smacked!
