TIA!! :)

  • eeeek!!!! no pointers just be yourself!

    and start blogging again :)

Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever! Expecting again after IVF Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

  • And don't forget to BREATHE!!!!! hahahaha you guys will do great can't wait to hear how it went!
  • You'll be fine. I know everyone says this and you can't believe it but ... it really is easier than you imagine it being.

    Good luck!

  • I ran around cleaning for the entire week and when my SW came she sat in a chair for most of the visit and looked at the spare room, and had a peak at my granny who was sleeping. So just relax, we expect them to go through our homes with a fine-tooth comb but they usually don't. I know mine didn't. So just relax and try to breathe. You will be fine.  Good luck to you.
  • I have the same advice as the other girls.  Relax and be yourself.  It really is a lot easier then your head makes it out to be.  :)  The SW wants to place a child in your home...not keep one out.
  • We just started our home visits a couple of weeks ago - and it went fine.  I cleaned and primped and had out snacks and everything.

My SW laughed (not in a mean way) and thought it was amusing.

2 years TTC with 5 losses, 1 year recovering, 6 months applying for adoption approval, and almost a year waiting for a placement. Then, a miracle BFP at age 36!
