another photo ?... JCP vs PI

Where do you feel like you do better... price wise/ photo wise?  DH and I are suckers for pics of bubs.  I have a bunch of JCP coupons (haven't figured out which one is the "best" yet)

 We got out of PI in Crestview for under $100 last time.. but would we do better at JCP (eastgate)?  Do you prefer one store over the other?  Is there another option I'm not considering?

I have always been completely happy with JCP in Eastgate, especially with Brad...DD does better with him for whatever reason!?.....(only bad thing is the long wait - but I usually get an early appmt. now and that helps)

For the $ I don't think you can beat PI. Plus you get the prints same day as well as images on disc. We went to JCP once and I was really disappointed, of course it was during Thanksgiving but the people were just rude. I though it was their own fault to schedule appointments 10 minutes apart. They got 1 decent pic, we have never been back.
* Plus the coupon said free sitting fee, well DH & I jumped in for a few shots, they charged us $20 for it and we didn't even order those pics. Our own fault for not reading fine print. Ugh!

I have been disappointed with JCP because we always have to scan and retouch the pics after we get them.  We just do white or black backgrounds, and the white backdrop in particular just looks really bad - dirty and very wrinkly.  I only really liked our first visit there, when they had an awesome photographer who later became a district mgr.  The two past times have just been so-so and we won't go back.

I always go to Brad at JC Penney in Eastgate.  Logan LOVES him and he always does a fantastic job.

We did DS's newborn, 3 mos, 6mos, 9 mos, and 1 year pics at JCP in Eastgate.  We have always been very satisfied with their prices and the pics we have gotten.  I've only ever paid close to $100 once and that was for his newborn pics because we did family pics as well.  I get a ton of pictures every time we go.  We usually bring some of our own props.  We've never done anything fancy but I've always been very happy.  I will say that I won't ever go on a Saturday.  We've been going on Sundays and try to get the first appt that doesn't interfere with DS's nap.  I've gone during the week to pick up his pictures and they seem pretty slow in the evenings.  I'd be more than happy to share a few pictures if you are interested.

I have been to both for pics.  We felt really rushed at JCP, and the pics were just ok.  We have been to PI a few times, the pics are great, and we love having the pics that day.  I did manage to get out of there one time with a $9.95 package.  You really have to be strong to do that though.  I was so tempted to buy more.  They take great pics.  My suggestion is get your dollar limit in order before you go and then stick to it no matter what.
