Awesome CSE meeting!

I'm absolutely beyond thrilled with how the meeting went.  Even though her testing scores were either below average or average the CSE could see that she has some areas of difficulties and that she would benefit from a special ed. teacher.

The evaluator said she saw some pretty strong instances of OCD and she thinks this interferes with how Michelle learns.

So she will be transitioning away from EI and the school district will provide 2 hours of special ed instruction starting July 1st.  This teacher will also spend 2 hours a week at the preschool when preschool starts.  Then at the end of Oct. we will meet again to see how things are and if she will still benefit from continuing services.

We have a meeting with our EI team to see what they can do to continue services before the school picks up.

I'm rambling and not making much sense but all of this is a good thing!
