Got a letter in the mail

....informing me that my baby will be born on September 21!

I was kind of surprised how this worked. I had my regular OB appt on Thursday and my doctor said that he was going to send a message to the person who does the scheduling for c-sections. I just figured she would call me and we would talk about it first. Instead, I got a letter in the mail on Saturday telling me it has been scheduled for 10 AM on 9/21. A little different! Oh well, now I guess we can plan. DH's birthday is 9/19, so I guess he will get a belated present this year.

Wow... that would be kinda weird But, it is nice to have a date nailed down so you can plan isn't it? The way they do it at my ob is say "Pick a doctor or pick a day" and then they whip out the schedule for the week you are 39 weeks

That'll be fun... having their two birthdays so close together

Awesome! I know isn't it weird to have a planned day when the baby will be born. My dr. asked what date I wanted a few months back and I got lucky since the first week in June was open and I got to pick the date and dr.. Mine is June 3 so 3 weeks and two days away! Let the countdown begin for you.

Yeah! How exciting! We are close to the same situation since baby #2 is due exactly 2 weeks after Ryan's 2nd birthday. I just hope I am able to make it through her birthday party first!
