Hi Ladies,
I'll be SAH starting the end of this month and I am SO excited. I went back to work, just for a month, and now I need to turn in my resignation today. I'm writing my letter and have hit a writing block...all of my past resignation letters have said what I am going on to do next. Did you all put in your letter that you're going to be staying home or did you say something like "I've decided to pursue other opportunities at this time"
I'm just not sure of what to say...any help/insight would be appreciated. TIA!
Re: resignation letter
Here is a little of what I wrote- hope it helps.
After careful consideration, I am writing to inform you I am resigning from my position as job title. My last day will be date.
I feel it is best for my family at this time, to stay at home with my son, DC's name.
I am thankful for the opportunities I have had at name of company and will always hold the people I have worked with and the experiences I have had here in high esteem.
Working at name of company throughout my career has been a wonderful experience. I will always look back fondly on all the wonderful projects that we worked on.
I wish you, name of company, and the entire name of department you worked in all the best.
