Soap nuts in my HE washing machine??

I keep reading that you can use soap nuts in HE washers, and they are really great... my question is how exactly do you use them?  Do you put them in the bag where the soap would normally go?  In the drawer thing?  Or directly into the washer with the clothes?  I can't seem to find any answers online and I really want to use them, but need to know how.

Anybody's help would be GREATLY appreciated!  Thanks!

you put them in with your laundry, in a bag of course.  Also if you are doing a cold wash you shouldn't really use them as the nuts per say, you should soak them in hot water and then put that enfused soapy water in your laundry soap spot in your washer. HTH.

mine came with a little bag which I put them in and i put some tea tree oil drops on the bag to make the laundry smell good.  makes clothes soft and safely clean!
