what are your favorite maternity shorts?

Ok, I admit.  I am darn picky when it comes to shorts.  I hate shorts (less than 5 inch inseam) that are super short and I hate bermuda length too.  I have short stump legs and capri's, bermuda's, and crops all make me look weird.  I want a pair or two of comfortable shorts that are of reasonable length.

Is this even possible?

    I think cute maternity shorts must be an oxymoron. ;) I'm not a big shorts fan (and I don't even hate my legs) normally.  I did see a bunch at Kohl's the other day and Motherhood, but won't wear shorts so I didn't look too much at them.  I think Gap and ON has some too.

    i haven't been able to find any that aren't too long.  it's like they're all old lady shorts!!!!!  i did find ONE pair at a consigment shop that were from motherhood.  i would look on their website because they had different categories of length (i went to the store but they had a very very limited selection at the store). 

     

    good luck!  i've been on the hunt for decent shorts for weeks!!

    I just bought 2 pair at Kohl's- all their maternity stuff was buy one get one Free today. I am 5' 7" and the shorts are perfect for me. I was just saying how I am glad they are not booty shorts, and they dont ride up the crotch when I walk. They are also not so long that I feel like I am 80 years old. I think they are perfect, and they are the secret fit belly kind (full belly support). I love them- and they are stylish. 

    Link- their website says they are the 5" inseam, but I love them.

    This made me laugh.  Oh, to find the perfect shorts.

    Are you a sewer?  Could you hem some bermudas?  I have cellulite and thus stopped wearing shorts for non sporting events like 10 years ago, but good luck with your search! And if you give up, just get some cute maternity skirts.

    I don't even wear shorts when I'm not pregnant...there is not a chance in hell you will catch me in them as I very rapidly begin to resemble a Babar's wife. I am a strong believer that only tall skinny girls look good in shorts of any length, which just isn't fair to most of us ladies with a little junk-in-the-trunk. Wink Basically, shorts should be banned from existance (along with overalls).

    Old Navy has some really cute jersey knit maternity skirts...that's what I wear in place of evil shorts.
