i can't speak for the davinci minicrib, but i have the davinci kalani full size crib, dresser, and hutch and love them. assuming all the different davinci models are the same quality, you should be pleased. my only gripe is that the wood scratches easily, but everything else is great....
GMIL has a minicrib for when she babysits DS and right now he still fits in it (22-ish lbs, about 30 in.), but i'm not sure how much longer it'll last....
DS is almost 11 months and he still fits in it. We bought the twin bed conversion kit for it and plan to convert it over when he's too big for the crib. We're also planning on getting bed rails since we're skipping over a toddler bed. I love the way it looks. DH says it was easy to assemble. The only downside is finding sheets that fit, there's not a lot of options. We bought about 5 and that's been sufficient for us. HTH!
i love the mini crib, currently i think it is on the lowest setting because she can stand in it. sometimes i find her in the corner sleeping in a L shape, she still appears comfortable in it. I did buy a thicker mattress for it so she would be more comfortable. I have the matching changing dresser and love it. It does scratch easy, but other then that no complaints
