What convertible car seat do you have? Do you like it? I have to get a second seat for the other car so we can retire the infant seat ASAP. We have an Evenflo Titan Elite that we really like so far. We don't care for the design of the latest model of the Titan that is available at Target, but we are going to BRU to look tomorrow since they have coupons. Soooo....here I am asking another silly car seat question.
Besides safety, the most important things to us are ease of getting in and out, easy strap adjustment, and comfy padding for DD. Advice?

BTW, Ava has that same toy that Brenna is playing with in your siggy. She loved it when she was around Brenna's age! Be sure to put it away when she's a toddler though b/c now all she likes to do with it is see how hard and loud she can slam the balls into the kitchen floor. I guess that teaches cause and effect as well, but it's not quite as cute.
Brenna loves that thing! I never thought of those hard balls as having potential to be used as projectiles. I will make a mental note of that and hide them when the time comes. Thanks for the advice!
We are going to look at the Triumph tomorrow. I am glad to know you are happy with it.

We're researching convertibles right now.
While we are thinking about the Britax roundabout, we're worried about the 40 lb limit with B (we think he's 23 lbs now). $220 x 2 cars is a bit pricy... even if we do get a discount for 10-20% off.
Baby Bargains says the cons of the Titan are hard to clean cover and adjust straps. We may get the Titan for my MIL if she's watching both DS and his cousin on the same days (which hasn't happened since December). They already have 1 seat.
The Triumph's cons are "tension knob is hard to adjust when seat is in rear facing mode. wide base may not fit in smaller cars. you can only use the top harness in forward facing mode... not good for larger kids. and they've gotten "a littany of gripes about the seat's usability". Also, removing the seat pad requires a screwdriver. It also goes on to say that when it works for parents it does well. Supposedly the Triumph Advance fixed those problems. The Triumph got a B; the Titan got a B+.
We're also looking into this seat: https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3505950. We don't know much about it yet, and if we're going to spend that much we may as well get a Britax. But it gets an A in Baby Bargains as well.
Who knows what we'll do... we're still in the research phase. It's on DH's project list this week after his grades are done. He's always great at getting the best price possible on pricy stuff.

We love love love our Evenflo Triumph Advance. We have the LX and the DLX. The DLX has more padding on it, but it is a little more expensive by like $20, but to me it was worth it. He really enjoys either one though.
Good Luck!

I had an Evenflo Triumph for Ryleigh and loved it. Definitely got my money's worth, she used until she was 5 when I transferred her to a booster. I highly recommend it!
