We have a hook on the back of the door to hang out shower towels.. we usually use them twice...on our towel rods we just have two palin white towels for peple to wipe there hand after washing.. Sometimes during the holidays if I find a cute decorative one I will hang it but people can still use it to wipe their hands..growing up my mom had decorative in both bathrooms and we knew we were not allowed to wipe our washed hands on themm....she used to get so mad when people would come over and use them to wash and wipe their hands.. too funny!

There are no towels hanging in the kids bathrooms.  We put them up when guests are here and they are just plain pretty towels that coordinate with the bathroom.

Our bathroom we have white plush towels that are hanging. Nothing fancy.

Other-

 In our master bath, there is no towel bar at all.  we put a hangy thing over the door and put our towels there.

 

in DS bathroom, we do have decorative towels, which match the shower curtain, but they are for DS.  They have trucks and buses on them.  We use them for DS every once in a while, but mostly decorative.

 When we have guests, I put towels in their room for them, and there is an over the door hanger in the 2nd bathroom for any of their towels.

Towels are in the cabinet in the bathroom....we do have a hook on the back of the door but the last person to take a shower hangs the towel there and the next person uses that towel as a floor mat.

I dont have a floor mat because the dogs and cat like to lay on it and it gets hair all over it.

We have a TINY bathroom.  In our old house we had decorative towels but with 4 people in one bathroom, there is no room for decoration!

We have a hook on the back of the doors on the bathrooms that we hang our towels on.  We hang our decorative towels on the towel rack.

We have a five-hook bar that is hooked over the top of our bathroom door.  Our bath towels go there.  We got it at Target or BB&B for around $10 and it is a super easy quick fix.  You can't even see the towels if the bathroom door is open.  Hand towels go on the bar to the right of the sink and decorative towels are on the bar across from the sink.  There is a bar above our toilet as well but we usually only put our son's washcloths there after his baths so they have a chance to dry before we toss them into the laundry hamper.
