need help combining names

I would like my little girl's middle name to be a combination of mine and DH's mom's names. But, I can't come up with anything that sounds decent. Here are the names:

Kathryn Ann

Janet Arlen

Any ideas? Have you heard of any names that might work?

I'm kind of grabbing at straws here, but I know a little girl named Carley, and it is kind of a combination of Kathryn and Arlen. That's all I've got ... sorry!

You could combine Janet and Anne and do Jane. If that's too oneside, you could also throw in Kathryn as the middle name.

You could always do something like Katherine Jane and call her Katie Jane.

Or you can deviate a little and do something like Jana Kate.

Jacklyn Rae, is a non-literal combination or you could just pick one of their first names and the other's middle name.

i like kathleen as well. i think you should focus more on finding a pretty name for your daughter than just forcing names together. it's nice to honor someone like that but not at the expense of your daughter's name. maybe do like the jewish and use the first letter of a name and choose one that begins with it as well for your baby.

How about Janeane (or however it's spelled - Juh-neen). It's kind of like a Janet and Ann combination.

oh i think i read the OP wrong. what is the first name? that would help narrow down what will flow.

You could use the name Annette as a combination of Ann and Janet.

How about Kathleen or Kaylen? Also.... through combining the letters in both names I get Ryan, Taryn, Karyn, and Jean.

My favorite though is Grace. I get Grace because Ann means gracious or merciful and Janet means God is gracious.

Which one is your mom's name? Go with that one. He already gets the last name from his side.
