when did dc start using adult utensils?

trying to decide if we should get more toddler utensils or not.

    He CAN use them now, but he prefers his own utensils. I think he was around 2 when we started letting him use the NON-plastic ones.

    She's been using them since about 20 mos. However, she really does prefer her own utensils, so we have several sets. She loves the toddler knife.

    about 15/18 months.  He uses the small cake fork though.  And a regular spoon.

    My little one is 16 mo and she routinely uses a tiny metal fork and feeds herself cereal well with a spoon.  I know her sister wasn't that early, but she learns from watching!
